Part of Ostheimer’s nativity collection, this Mary figure may be set out with Joseph during Advent—the four weeks leading up to Christmas—and then be replaced with the classic Mary figure on Christmas Eve.
It is also a lovely tradition to use this Mary figure along with our wooden . Light one candle for each night of advent as Mary travels on her donkey inward toward the center of the spiral on Christmas Eve.
The set is designed so Mary can be removed from the donkey and each figure can be displayed or played with separately.
